hg47 Occasional Novelist, Prolific Reader, Amateur ReviewerIf you like science fiction, DAUGHTER MOON is the best thing I ve ever written, or ever will write I know my limits It s not as good as THE MOTE IN GOD S EYE, or DUNE, or even the flawed masterpiece STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND Sucks to be me I rank it 4th on the Ultimate Sci Fi Scale They say that novelists are even egotistical than Hollywood Directors MOON is a high tech sci fi Matriarchy in Outer Space time travel novel 100 boys are not worth a woman s little finger In February, 2013, I unpublished all my eBooks except for DAUGHTER MOON Everyone loves MOON reaction to my other writing is Meh Sometime earlier this month, May, I put my eBooks back up I was briefly infamous in the mid Nineties, when my publisher Longstreet Press sent out 150 blue bras to reviewers for the launch of my experimental novel BLUES DELUXE, which essentially defined me as a boob.I use my Twitter handle for my writer s name now Two years ago I momentarily went viral, when my TwitterArt sequence of planes crashing into the Twin Towers got than 10,000 ReTweets in a 24 hour period No clue how that happened Wish I did.I pay the bills working in plastics extrusion I run the graveyard shift where I work, although with this Super Recession things are so slow that it s turning into a part time gig.Look at the free samples for my novels you will find out real quick if my style of writing works for you I apologize for my incompetent Sales Pitch Pages.Cheers Harv Griffin hg47

    1. Oh wow, this is some serious hard sic-fi right here. I might even stretch it to speculative fiction. Either way it covers a lot of ground, from Dworkin's `all sexual penetration is rape' to Newtonian physics and functional nanotechnologyt to mention time travel. This book takes some thought to read though. I strongly recommend reading it, but not when there are too many distractions about. It would be easy to get lost in the multiple time-lines and overlapping 'Direct Interface Lifetimes.' You w [...]

    2. Personal Reaction: Some of the discussion of the science in this science fiction was a little too detailed for me, so I skipped over it. In general, the book was a lot of fun with tongue-in-cheek humor. Inflating and deflating body parts on a whim depending on your technical proficiencies seems like an interesting future. I enjoyed Aero and Kronos discussing religions and space-time travel in a locked room while Aero makes everyone else thinks she's a "victim of horizontal violence." Changing ev [...]

    3. Wow! Pretty heavy futuristic SciFi novel. Its a combination between Heinlein and Isaac Asimov. It's sort of reading a future history. The author must have an estimulating imagination to produced this good of a story. Full of wits, and has a good sense of humor.I admit I laughed a lot of times while reading, and enjoyed this book thoroughly. Likewise, looking forward on reading more of his books.
