    1. The book is set on the beautiful Italian island of Capri, and the author’s delightful descriptions of the island really transport you to this wonderful setting for this love story:So far Anna loved everything about Capri. The smells were sweet and pungent, the heat balmy and all-encompassing. She’d never seen sky so blue and peering into the azure depths of the Mediterranean as the ferry docked, Anna was overwhelmed by its shimmering clarity. She could even make out the sandy bottom, which h [...]

    2. I have always loved a good secret identity book. We meet Anna who was certainly one of the most realistic characters I have read about in a long time. She finds a letter pertaining to the identity of her father and this brings her to the Italian Island of Capri , which is the perfect setting for romance and the author used it to her advantage perfectly.Anna not only discovers that she is the heir to vast family fortune but she also discovers that proving it to the very sexy as sin and arrogant la [...]

    3. This has been languishing in the tbr folder on my kindle for a while, and silly me for not getting to it sooner :)This was a very enjoyable short read. The characters were surprisingly well fleshed-out for the length of the novel. I liked the heroine, Anna, in particular, she was very believable and easily related to and I loved her dry sense of humour. The setting was beautifully detailed and really gave you a sense of the place. The storyline was admittedly one I have seen done before, but the [...]

    4. enjoyed this easy read. Even though I was reading this book at an extremely busy time of my life, I still enjoyed it, which is unusual for me.I think the heroine is very realistic in that she doesn't just jump into bed with the hero because she finds him attractive. She's cautious and insecure which makes her believable. The romance was very tender, unique, yet relatable, and I enjoyed watching how the stubborn Rafael, determined to never fall in love, buckles because of meeting the right woman. [...]

    5. Normally I don't write reviews but this book was so shit I felt like I had to. I got this book for free on my kindle and expected it to be short, simple and an overall OK read. Frankly the story line was so bad that it took me three days to finish it and that's saying something because I can finish a good 400 pig book in less than a day. The main male character, Rafael was the worst character I have ever read about that was not supposed to be nasty. First of all he treats the main female charac [...]

    6. Secret child grows up and tries to meet her father, but he died six months prior and left a mysterious inheritance for an illegitimate daughter. Several girls have already tried to trick the lawyer and agent for Giovanni Albertosi's estate. So when Anna Crawford shows up as the secret daughter, it doesn't look good for her case. But her naturally grieving reaction to the news that her possible father was dead was really convincing for me (the reader). Anna is a maternity nurse from London who ha [...]

    7. Another easy to read book, the author pulled me into the story with her descriptions, making me feel like I was there. I loved the chemistry between the characters that showed their feelings for each other before they realised themselves! Ending was a shocker! Would recommend

    8. This was a very charming romance. The scenes were hot, the romance built up nicely, and the story had a few twists that pulled it together into a wonderful package. I would read more from this author.

    9. The premise for the this book was really good and it flowed well, but there was errors that seriously affected how much I enjoyed it, it felt like it was written by someone who has never really spent time in Italy which was a shame.

    10. Can't wait for more from Louise Rose Innes! I loved reading The Italian Inheritance and I didn't see the twist toward the end coming at all :)
